After last year’s rain affected event, the band were looking forward to playing at the Armed Forces Day event in Gillingham this year. Given that the summer had been so warm and sunny so far, everyone was confident that we would be basking in high temperatures. However, this is the UK and the contrariness of the weather showed itself once again with threatening clouds and somewhat blustery conditions. Nevertheless, the band were able to perform just about all of their programme to a large and interested audience at the Great Lines Heritage Park in Medway.
