The band completed its summer events programme with its appearance on Deal Memorial Bandstand. It is always a delight to perform on this wonderful and evocative bandstand and, always, there was a large and knowledgeable audience to impress. Impress the band certainly did, with many comments on the quality and diversity of the band’s programme pieces which included Prismatic Light, 4 soloists, original brass music, arrangements of popular music, film music and a march and a hymn tune. The band always enjoys its appearances here and is looking forward to performing again next year.
Once again this year we were unable to attend any concert because we always received the email too late and the concert was over. Very disappointed.
