The Covid pandemic has affected all walks of life and has put live music on hold since March 2020.
Thankfully, the band members are all well and were all able to start rehearsing together a few weeks ago. For its first concert since December 2019, the band played in front of Broadstairs Bandstand on Sunday 11th July 2021 (Social Distancing rules made it impossible to fit on the actual bandstand).
Needless to say, the excitement amongst the players was very noticeable. That, along with the large and appreciative audience, made it an all the more enjoyable experience that many thought may not happen again for a very long time.
