Rochester Christmas Dickensian Festival 7th/8th December 2019

After last year’s deluge on the Saturday of the Dickens Festival, band members were delighted to find themselves playing in calm and sunny conditions on the Saturday of this year’s festival.  As a result of the fine weather, the crowds turned up in Rochester in their droves which made it all the more enjoyable to be playing for them on the Boley Hill stage.  Sunday, whilst not quite as sunny, and a little windy,  was at least dry and the band was able to give it’s performances without weather interruptions.  Thanks, as always, go to our guests who helped out over the weekend

Next up is the band’s final appearance of 2019 at the Leeds Castle from 12pm until 4.15pm on Saturday 14th December.  Following this we will be rehearsing for the Butlin’s Mineworkers Open National Brass Band Contest which takes place in Skegness over the weekend of 11th and 12th January 2020
