This was a busy weekend for the band as it performed on the Saturday and Sunday of the Rochester Christmas Dickens Festival weekend and again on the Monday at the BAE Systems Company Carol Service.
The Christmas Dickens Festival is one that the band always looks forward to performing at, and this year was no different, with a particularly large and appreciative crowd present on a very cold Saturday to see the band’s two afternoon sets. This was followed later on with the band playing for the Community Carol singing, which again, was well attended.
On the Sunday, the band reprised it’s Saturday performance with a few changes to the programme. It was a slightly quieter but still with a great many people around despite the weather being warmer but rather damp.
Monday saw the band performing at the Company Carol Service where it’s contribution was very favourably commented on. Once again, the band played a number of items as well as accompanying the carol singing.
